Coaching ToThe Next Level
For more than 20 years, Coach Keysha McClenton has been privileged to help athletes reach the next level, from Division I weight rooms to 17 years owning her own gym in the Madison area. Along the way she's coached NCAA national champions and Olympic gold medalists.
She's grateful to every one of them, and she brings that same care to every athlete who walks in today, whether it's a middle schooler learning to land a jump, a high schooler getting ready for the season, or a college athlete home for the summer.
Learn to move well first, then build strength, speed and power on that foundation, at a pace that's right for you. That's what Train Responsibly means here.

GoodQuestions
[01]Is my first session really free?
Yes. Your first session with Coach Keysha is free, with no commitment and no pressure. It's a chance to meet, talk about your goals, and train together so you can see if it's a good fit.
Book your free session and Keysha will reach out to get you scheduled.
[02]Is strength training safe for teens?
When it's well coached and age-appropriate, strength training is a healthy part of athletic development for young athletes. The keys are close supervision, good technique, and smart progressions, never maxing out or chasing numbers.
That's how Coach Keysha works: technique first, and every athlete progresses at their own pace. Parents are always welcome to watch, and we ask parents or guardians of athletes under 18 to complete the intake form and waiver.
[03]What should I expect at my first session?
We'll start with a conversation about your goals, your sport or activity, and any injuries or health history. Then Coach Keysha will take you through a movement assessment (how you squat, hinge, jump, land and move) and a coached training session at the right level for you.
You'll leave with a clear idea of where to start and what a plan could look like. Wear comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes, and bring water.
[04]Do I need any experience?
No experience is needed. Whether you've never touched a barbell or you've been training for years, every session is coached and scaled to where you are today.
[05]Are group classes available?
Group classes are coming soon. Right now, private training is open, one-on-one or in small groups. Request a private session on any day that works for you.
Want to be first to know when group classes start? Join the mailing list in the Group Classes section, or email Keysha.
